There are three theme to be addressed in Strand Two: Building Respect for All Cultural Identities:
Culture, Arts and Heritage
Our aim is to develop build greater awareness, understanding and appreciation of locally based culture, arts and heritage through the delivery of an experiential learning programme.
Minority Communities
We want to enhance awareness and understanding of minority communities, building respect and tolerance for difference, facilitating positive cultural expression, celebrating diversity while building capacity within minoritized communities to enable them to contribute fully to a peaceful, cohesive and prosperous society.
Cross Border Heritage
We want to continue to promote and nurture cross-border, cross-community and peacebuilding initiatives through the shared history linkages of the O’Neill (Tyrone) and O’Donnell (Donegal) clans.
