PEACEPLUS is a new European Union funding programme designed to support peace and prosperity across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland, building upon the work of the PEACE and INTERREG programmes.
Mid Ulster District Council has consulted with the public to hear their views on the development of a Mid Ulster PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan:
-
Series of consultation workshops - November 22
-
Concept note - November - December 22
-
Follow up consultation - April 23
This has led to the development of Mid Ulster District Councils PEACEPLUS Local Community Peace Draft Action Plan. This plan is centred around three core themes:
1. Local community regeneration and transformation;
