Mid Ulster District Council Website

Following extensive preparatory work and data gathering Mid Ulster District Council published their Local Development Plan 2030 Preferred Options Paper (POP) together with a Sustainability Appraisal Interim Report.

A series of policy reviews were also undertaken as part of this preparatory work. 

The POP is a consultation paper intended to promote debate on issues of strategic significance which are likely to influence the preparation of the new Local Development Plan. It identifies key issues in the plan area and formulates a series of options for dealing with them. 

The paper indicates the Councils preferred option for growth and development in the Mid Ulster Area. The POP and related documents were published for a 12 week consultation period from 7th November 2016.
