2025 Grant Aid Programme

Round 1 of the 2025 grant applications is now closed, except the two rolling grants - Sports Representative Individual and Sports Representative Team grants, which will remain open for online applications until the budget is exhausted.


The Ending Violence against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Change Fund is now closed.
 

Applications were invited for projects designed to prevent and challenge the attitudes, behaviours and culture that can lead to violence against women and girls across Mid Ulster.
 
Funding can be applied for within three tiers of support:

  • Tier 1: grants between £1,000 and £5,000

  • Tier 2: grants between £5,001 and £15,000

  • Tier 3: grants between £15,001 and up to £25,000


The Regional Minority Languages Bursary Grant is now closed.

Prior to completing an online grant aid application, it is essential that you read and familiarise yourself with the Grant Aid Policy 2025 - 2026.

This contains important information and restrictions which you need to be aware of to avoid not complying with specific conditions on the various grant programmes.

Community and Voluntary Sector Governance

The proper governance of local Community and Voluntary Sector organisations is a necessary requirement for any group wishing to access publicly supported grant aid to ensure there is openness, transparency and accountability.

The Council have linked with Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action (NICVA) to provide advice, information and practical support on a wide range of matters from charity regulations to dealing with governance issues of management committees.
