During the development of its 2023/24 Action Plan, the Mid Ulster LMP identified the need to support local employers by developing a Mid Ulster Employer Toolkit which aims to be a one-stop-shop, providing employers with tools and support for aiding with employment matters.
The information provided within the Toolkit has been designed to provide support to employers who are seeking to set up and offer:
In addition, the Toolkit also contains guidance on the following key areas:

Developing Mentorship Roles for those close to retirement;

Support to implement appropriate HR Policies to assist with recruitment and retention of staff;

Guidance on how to introduce flexible working/hybrid working;

Best practice guidance on how to improve the wellbeing of employees and promote a positive workplace culture.
For ease of use, the Toolkit looks at each of these areas individually and will provide you with links and signposting to other support providers that may be able to offer assistance with your recruitment and retention aspirations. The Toolkit will link you with information, advice, and signposting to employment best practice approaches.
