As Storm Éowyn has resulted in a very strong impact across the region, Council will continue to work with our partners in response to the weather impacts and is in the process of assessing any damage at Council sites.
Community Assistance Centres - Wednesday 29 January
If you need a hot drink or a place to charge devices, residents are welcome in our leisure centres in Cookstown, Dungannon, Magherafelt and Maghera where access to hot drinks, showers and points to charge devices will be made available.

Bin Collections
We anticipate recovery will continue into this week. Please continue to report your missed bins.
Household Recycling Centres
All Household Recycling Centres are open.
Cemeteries
All cemeteries are open.
Pedestrian access only is available to Polepatrick Cemetery. Please be careful when visiting the cemetery as there is still a lot of machinery and equipment on site, clearing damage caused by the storm. Cars are not permitted and the walkway remains closed until remedy works have been completed.
Outdoor Recreation Sites and Leisure Facilities
All Council owned and managed public parks, forest sites*, and play parks will remain closed and only reopen following safety inspections that will take place as soon as it is safe for them to do so. Please do not enter outdoor facilities until safety checks are completed.
Indoor leisure, arts and culture, community and tourism facilities
All leisure, community and tourism facilities are open as normal with the exception of OM Dark Sky Park Observatory Buidling which is without power.
Hill of the O'Neill and Ranfurly House is open, however the path from Circular Road is not fully accessible.
