Welcoming the return of the popular annual event, Chair of the Council, Councillor Eugene McConnell, said:
The Coalisland Summer Bash returns for a third year to the impressive Shared Space on the Lineside for a morning of free family fun to coincide with the renowned Newell 10k and 5k run. Each year, the run brings our community together in the most uplifting way and with the family entertainment only enhancing the atmosphere and excitement even further.
It's more than just a race; it's a celebration of what makes Coalisland special. I’m proud to see the town be filled with runners of all ages and abilities, supporting one another and showing what this town is all about. I look forward to attending the event and enjoying a morning of fun, family and entertainment.
The 5K run kicks off at 10.30am followed by the 10k at 11.15am.
