Thousands Turned Out for Dungannon Christmas Lights Switch On 2024

Thousands turned out in Dungannon to enjoy Mid Ulster District Council’s Dungannon Christmas Lights Switch On event, on Saturday 23 November.

Family focused festive fun took place from 2.30pm at Market Square, including music to get you in the festive mood from on-stage DJ, musical entertainment on stage with free drop in arts and crafts in Ranfurly House.

A Christmas Pageant made its way through the streets of Dungannon, along with a Santa Dash organised by Southern Area Hospice Services shortly after.

Santa then arrived in style by a Mallaghan lorry to turn on the town’s Christmas lights with Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Eugene McConnell.

A fabulous, fun and festive night was had by all.
